Peanut Butter Blossoms

Ingredients

1 cup Butter

1 cup Peanut Butter

1 cup Sugar

1 cup Brown Sugar

2 Egg

2 tsp Vanilla

3 1/2 cup Flour

2 tsp Baking Soda

1 bag Hershey's Chocolate Kisses

Excess Sugar (to roll cookies in)


Directions

Preheat oven to 350°.
Cream together butter, peanut butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
Add remaining ingredients. Mix well.
Roll into 1-inch balls.
Roll each ball in sugar.
Place on ungreased baking sheet.
Press thumb gently in the middle of each ball.
Bake at 350° degrees for 8 minutes.
Remove from oven.
Place chocolate Kiss on each cookie immediately.
Cool on wire racks.

Yield: 7 dozen

Obviously, chocolate and peanut butter cookies are good; and these definitely fit the bill. However, I don't see anything overly exciting about these cookies. I don't think there is anything "special" about this particular recipe. It is good, but everyone has a recipe like this. And each one is as good as the next in my mind.
