Chicken Parmesan

Ingredients

Chicken Parmesan

6-8 breast Chicken (boneless)

3 Egg

2 cup Breadcrumbs (Italian)

1 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese (grated)

1/2 cup Butter (or Margarine - melted)

1 tsp Oregano

1/4 tsp Pepper

1 tsp Salt (optional)

1 Tbs Olive Oil

1 jar Spaghetti Sauce (or homemade)

8 slice Provolone Cheese


Directions

Preheat oven to 425°.
Spray or brush a 15 x 10 x 2î baking sheet with olive oil.
Pat chicken breast dry.
Beat eggs in a shallow dish; set aside.
Mix Italian breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, melted butter, oregano, pepper and salt in a large bowl.
Dip chicken breasts into beaten egg.
Dip chicken breast into breadcrumbs, flip to coat both sides.
Place onto greased baking sheet.
Bake at 425° for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
Turn each chicken breast over.
Top each breast with a spoonful of spaghetti sauce and a slice of provolone cheese.
Return to oven and bake until cheese is melted, about 10-15 minutes.
Serve over pasta with additional spaghetti sauce.

This meal is almost better than eating at an awesome Italian restaurant. This is one of my favorite recipes, and definitely a go to for when I have company over.

I typically use fresh parmesan cheese instead of processed. But if that's all you have, it is still good.
