Caramel Apple Dip
Adapted From: Watkins


Ingredients

8 ounce Cream Cheese

1/3 cup Dark Brown Sugar (must be DARK)

1/3 cup Sugar

1 tsp Vanilla

1/2 tsp Caramel Flavoring (Watkins brand)

1/2 cup Peanuts (honey roasted)

6-8 Apple (granny smith or red delicious)


Directions

Finely chop the peanuts. Set aside.
Mix cream cheese, brown sugar and white sugar together until smooth and creamy.
Add vanilla and caramel flavoring.
At this point the mixture can be refrigerated for later use.

To Serve:
Mix chopped nuts into cream cheese mixture or serve the cream cheese mixture in one bowl and the nuts in a separate bowl (for those people who canít have nuts, or who just donít care for nuts).
Cut apples into wedges.
Place apples in a lemon juice bath for a few seconds to keep from turning brown.
Dip apples!

Great fruit dip! I don't often think to make this, but everytime it is at a party, I gobble it up. It tastes a lot like a caramel apple!
