Brandy Slush
Adapted From: Auntie Eileen / Brother Bob


Ingredients

Brandy Slush

10 cup Water (Divided)

2 Tea Bags (Green Tea preferred)

12 ounce Frozen Orange Juice (or Limeade)

18 ounce Frozen Lemonade

2 cup Sugar

2-3 cup Brandy (or Vodka)


Directions

Boil 7 cups of water.
Add 2 tea bags and swish until dark.
In a large bowl combine the orange juice, lemonade, sugar and brandy (or substitutions).
Add the tea to this mixture.
Add 3 cups cold water.
Put mixture in a bucket and freeze.

NOTE: It may take several days to totally freeze. Stir mixture occasionally.

To Serve:
Put one scoop of slush into glass and fill glass with 7-Up or Squirt. Stir together.

Perfect mixture of juice, ice, and alcohol on a hot summer day. Just put on some music, sit back on your patio, and enjoy!

These definitely don't last long in my house. They are one of my husband's favorite summer drinks. However, after drinking several, it can start to get a little sour for my taste. While I can't drink them all night, it is a delicious treat once in a while, and a great start to a hot afternoon/evening.

For freezing, it will freeze faster in smaller containers. We usually split it up into several tupperware containers rather than a single big bucket. That way we are drinking them within a few days...
