Bar-B-Q Meatballs
Adapted From: Momma K

Ingredients

1-2 pound Ground Beef

1 envelope Onion Soup Mix

2 Tbs Worcestershire

2/3 cup Evaporated Milk

2 cup Ketchup

1 cup Brown Sugar

1 Tbs Worcestershire

Directions

Meatballs:
Preheat oven to 400°.
Mix beef, onion soup mix, Worcestershire sauce and evaporated milk together. (The easiest way to mix this is to wash your hands, remove rings and mix with your hands)
Form meat mixture into walnut size balls.
Place on an ungreased 15 Ω x 10î jelly roll pan.
Bake at 400° for 10 minutes, or until cooked through. Drain grease from pan and place meatballs on paper toweling to absorb any remaining grease.
At this point the meatballs can be frozen for future use or sauced and served immediately.

Sauce:
Blend ketchup, brown sugar and Worcestershire sauce in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
Bring to a boil.
Turn down heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
Place meatballs and heated sauce in a slow cooker.
Using a rubber spatula, fold together gently.
Heat thoroughly. Serve with toothpicks or cocktail forks.

Katie Dishes - Two Thumbs Up!

Everyone loves these BBQ meatballs at family parties. My cousins literally call my mom the day before to make sure she is bringing them. The sauce is a perfectly addictive sweet sauce. And the meatballs, when making them from scratch, come out excellent as well.

I have to admit, I often cheat when making these though. The meatballs are a bit tedious and time consuming to make. So I only make them when I have time to prep the day before. When I don't, I just buy frozen meatballs from the store. If you pop them and the sauce into a slow cooker (while still frozen), and they'll be ready in a couple hours!
