Cheese and Sausage Breakfast Casserole

Ingredients

8 slice Bread (white; cut into cubes)

1 pound Sausage (crumbled & cooked)

1 1/2 cup Cheddar Cheese (shredded)

10 Egg

2 cup Milk

2 tsp Dry Mustard

1 tsp Salt

1/4 tsp Pepper


Directions

Preheat oven to 350.
Grease a 9x13 inch glass baking dish.
Place cubed bread in prepared dish.
Top with sausage & cheese.
Beat together eggs and next 3 ingredients.
Season with pepper.
Pour over sausage mixture.
Bake casserole until puffed and center is set, about 50 minutes.
Cut into squares.

NOTE: casserole can be prepared up to 1 day ahead and chilled in the refridgerator until you are ready to cook.

I am not a huge fan of these breakfast casseroles actually. I often find the eggs get too overcooked. But this is quite good. The milk keeps it moist, and the cheese/sausage combination is great. YUM.
