Italian Meatballs (WW)

Ingredients

1 1/2 tsp Butter

1 1/2 tsp Olive Oil

1 Onion (minced)

1 pound Ground Beef

1 Egg (beaten)

1 Tbs Parsley (fresh; finely minced)

3/4 tsp Salt

1/4 tsp Red Pepper

1/4 cup Beef Broth

1/4 cup White Wine


Directions

In a large skillet, melt butter and oil over medium heat.
Add onions; cooked, stirring occasionally, until they start to carmelize, about 8-10 minutes.
Remove onions to a large mixing bowl.
Add beef, egg, parsley (or 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning as an alternative), salt, and red pepper flakes.
Mix well to combine.
With damp hands, roll 48 1/2 inch meatballs.

Place same skillet over medium-low heat.
Add meatballs, broth, and wine.
Simmer until cooked through, gently turning meatballs once during cooking, about 20 minutes.

I remember these being good. I made them with baked italian style eggs. But I don't remember much else, so they couldn't have been fabulous...
