Stuffed Green Peppers

Ingredients

3 Green Pepper (large)

1 pound Ground Beef

2 Tbs Onion (diced)

1 tsp Salt

1/4 tsp Garlic Powder

1 cup Rice (cooked)

1/2 cup Breadcrumbs (italian if available)

30 ounce Tomato Sauce (divided; 2-15 oz cans)


Directions

Pre-heat oven to 350°.
Clean green peppers and slice in half (top to bottom).
Arrange in 9 x 13î pan, skin side down.
In a large fry pan, over medium heat, cook and stir ground beef and onion until onion is tender.
Drain thoroughly.
Stir in salt, granular garlic, rice and one can of tomato sauce.
Heat until bubbly.
Sprinkle the top with the Italian bread crumbs and mix.
Mixture should mold together at this point.
If it doesnít, add a little more Italian bread crumbs.
Remove pan from heat.
Fill each green pepper half with hamburger-rice mixture.
Spoon tomato sauce over the top of all stuffed peppers; use the entire can.
Cover and bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
Uncover and bake 15 minutes longer.
