Beef Stroganoff

Ingredients

2 pound Sirloin Steak

4 Tbs Butter

1-2 Tbs Minced Onion

1 pound Mushrooms (sliced)

1/2 pint Sour Cream

Salt

Pepper

Nutmeg


Directions

Pound steak very thin and cut into finger shaped pieces.
Melt 2 Tablespoons butter in a large heavy fry pan.
Add onion.
SautÈ until tender.
Add beef.
Cook quickly, browning on all sides - about 5 minutes.
Set aside.
SautÈ mushrooms in remaining butter.
Add to beef-onion mixture.
Add sour cream.
Heat and season delicately to taste.
Serve over buttered noodles.
