Rice Chili

Ingredients

Rice Chili

1 pound Ground Beef

2 Tbs Onion (or more - diced)

1 can Pork and Beans (28 oz - with liquid)

1 can Tomato Soup (10 3/4 oz)

1 can Water (10 3/4 oz)

1 can Minute Rice (about 1 1/2 cups)

2 Tbs Chili Sauce

1 tsp Yellow Mustard


Directions

Preheat oven to 350°.
In a large skillet over medium heat brown hamburger lightly with onions (I typically use more like 1/2 an onion, but it is up to you).
Drain fat.
Add tomato soup.
Add one soup can full of water.
Add pork and beans with liquid, chili sauce and mustard.
Mix together and bring to a boil.
Add one soup can full of minute rice. Simmer several minutes.
Transfer mixture to a 2 quart casserole dish.
Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.

My husband and I both love this and it is a staple in our house. I always have the necessary ingredients on hand, and make it when we can't decide what we are hungry for. It is easy to make, simple, but filling and good.
